Avery Scott Abram entered the world on October 19, 2025, weighing 6 pounds, 7 ounces. Though his time on earth was heartbreakingly brief, the love surrounding him was boundless.

Born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Avery was carried with deep anticipation for nine months. His heartbeat faded before he could take his first breath in this world, yet he was already everything to his family. His mother, Trisha Abram, and his siblings — Aliyah, Adreanna, Andrew, and Amiya — hold him close as their son, brother, baby, and forever angel.

In the quiet moments after his arrival, Trisha and those who loved Avery treasured every second they were able to spend with him. Photographs capture the tenderness of those hours: a mother holding her child, a tiny face at rest in a soft green knitted hat and sweater, surrounded by care and the soft presence of a stuffed companion.

The family has shared that Avery’s impact is eternal. “You may not have taken your first breath in this world, but you took ours away with the depth of love you brought into our lives,” the family wrote. “Your time here was brief, but your impact is eternal. We will carry your name, your memory, and your spirit with every step we take.”

Avery is also remembered by his uncles Danny and Scotty Abram, his very special Aunt Rosie, and many cousins. He was preceded in death by Grandma Cheryl Abram, Aunt Andrea Wells, and Grandpa Danny Abram.

Services were arranged through Brosh Chapel and the Avacentre at Good Shepherd Baptist Church in Cedar Rapids. A fundraiser was established to help provide a special urn, allowing the family a lasting way to keep Avery close.

Though Avery’s journey was short, the love he inspired continues. In the hearts of his mother, his siblings, and all who awaited his arrival, he remains a cherished and permanent part of their family story.
