Two Florida School Principals Arrested for DUI Hours Apart While Driving the Same Jeep

In a bizarre case out of Lake County, Florida, two school principals were arrested on DUI charges just hours apart after police pulled over the same white Jeep SUV twice during a single night out. The incidents, captured on bodycam video, have raised eyebrows and sparked discussions about accountability for educators.

Jennifer Jimenez, 41, and Christina Alcalde, 45, were stopped by Clermont police in separate traffic stops tied to the same vehicle. Around 2 a.m. on July 5, officers observed Jimenez swerving the Jeep into the opposite lane and driving over a curb. She was arrested on DUI-related charges.

Hours later, Alcalde was behind the wheel of the same Jeep and was also pulled over, leading to her arrest on similar charges. Bodycam footage released by authorities shows both women in custody.

Jimenez serves as principal of a charter school, while Alcalde holds a similar position at another educational institution in the area. The pair’s arrests occurred following what appeared to be a night out, with the women riding together initially.

The case has drawn significant local attention, with many questioning how such high-profile professionals in education could find themselves in this situation. Both women were taken into custody, and the Jeep was impounded. Legal proceedings are ongoing.

This unusual double arrest highlights the importance of responsible decision-making, especially for those in positions of influence over young students.
