TRAGIC UPDATE IN THE SEARCH FOR NOAH WOODS

Three-year-old Noah Woods was reported missing in Brantham, Suffolk, on September 15, 2026.

He had become separated from a relative after visiting a playground in Merriam Close.

A large search operation was launched, involving police, specialist teams, emergency services, and hundreds of members of the public.

On September 16, specialist dive officers recovered the body of a child from Decoy Pond.

Suffolk Constabulary later confirmed that the child had been formally identified as Noah.

Police said his death is not being treated as suspicious, although enquiries remain ongoing.

Around 1,300 members of the public assisted with the search during the operation.

The response included specialist search officers, police dogs, helicopters, firefighters, coastguard teams, and volunteers.
